This is a Public Service Announcement to all New Yorkers who don’t realize (or do realize yet don’t take advantage of the fact) that the beach is in your backyard! Indeed, the ocean is just a short subway ride away!
It’s just like heaven on this spring-like winter day in Coney Island! Grab your walkin’ shoes and your lover, hop on the subway, and venture out to the land of magic right in your backyard!! There’s still time to ride to Coney Island to take a beautiful sunset stroll on the boardwalk!!
It’s funny how few people living in NYC realize that they are actually living on an ISLAND!!! Beautiful beaches, marshes, and wetlands are all within an hours drive or ride! Go for a swim! Get salty!
