Starman Forever

There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He’d like to come and meet us
But he thinks he’d blow our minds
There’s a starman waiting in the sky
He’s told us not to blow it
‘Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile
He told me
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie

“Something happened on the day he died

Spirit rose a metre and stepped aside

Somebody else took his place, and bravely cried

I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar”

I had a million things to do today but I didn’t do any of them watching & listening to endless hours of David Bowie. But at the end of this endless legacy of Unfathomable greatness, I keep coming back to this parting gift. And nothing today has made me feel closer to what he has contributed to my life then his final album. The courage and artistic strength it took to create it is beyond comprehension. I’m also left with the incredible inspiration to be more. To be more daring. More creative. More colorful, More me. More unapologetically me. Forever grateful for everything, David Bowie…..

“I’m a blackstar, way up, oh honey, I’ve got game
I see right so white, so open-heart it’s pain
I want eagles in my daydreams, diamonds in my eyes”
(I’m a blackstar, I’m a blackstar)
