I can’t begin to tell you how happy it makes me that Coney Island actually has a “Dance Commander”!!  I would gamble that no other geographic location in the world has a Dance Commander.  And the fact that he also has an official uniform makes me thrilled beyond belief!  And this Dance Commander is no joke!  He is the dance-party master mind behind the extraordinary boardwalk House Music Dance Parties!  Have you ever walked past an endless sea of heads bobbin’ and feet groovin’ on the boardwalk on a sunny afternoon?  Well, this fabulous man is the creative cultivator of that blissful groove. He can also be seen holding a platter of delicious watermellon high above his head as he navigates through the sea of dancers offering a delicious free treat!  This afternoon we chatted about a possible collaboration between Dreamland Roller Rink and the !
