Crazy! 7 years ago today my shop reopened on the Coney Island Boardwalk after I was kicked out for a year. I lost my store because of my community activism & standing up for the preservation of the amusement district in Coney Island! After the developer kicked me out the city let me have my shop back when they purchased the property from him. You can watch the whole crazy ride in the documentary “Dreams for Sale” on Amazon, Netflix etc. SO immensely grateful to still have my beloved Boardwalk shop & for the twists & turns of fate that led me back here!!!
